With Windows 8 release around the corner, Intel has released a list of specifications at IDF 2012 Beijing for Windows 8 tablets.
The Windows 8 tablet included a dual-core Atom Z2760 “Clover Trail” SOC that has the capability of “burst mode” when the device requires it.
Intel is looking to set a standard in hardware features for Windows 8 tablets, similar to what it did with the Ultrabook. However, the one difference this time is that availiablity of two different sizes. A 10-inch and 11-inch models are being offered, with the 11-inch model offering a physical keyboard.
The tablets will offer more a battery life of over 9 hours, similar to the Apple iPad. The thickness of the tablet will be less then 9-MM and weight about 1.5 pounds.
In additional the tablet will also support Intel Wireless Display, Intel Insider, Advanced Imaging, Compute Continuum, NFC technology and Wi-Fi Direct.
